And I choose couple of graphic novels for this
1st of all #Akira by master Katsuhiro #Ōtomo, a #manga classic whose main villain #Tetsuo is a angst teen with unequivocal power... doesn't get most frightening than that.

2nd. an already classic #Batman story, #DeathOfTheFamily from @dcgramm #TheNew52. The #Joker depicted here is ruthless and gruesome, just the fact it literally took his face off and use it as a mask is nightmarish. . .
